Designer Samples

I personally chose these pieces on August 20 & 21, 2007 at the Fenton Factory, from the designers work stations and storage shelves with the help of Jackie Hodges, who is Nancy Fenton's assistant. 

They are all original designs from Fenton's designers, Kim Barley (Kim  Plauche), Frances Burton, JK (Robin) Spinder,  Martha Reynolds, and Stacy Williams. Some where chosen to be put in the line, either the regular catalog or on QVC. Some are samples that were done but not chosen for production, and some are just the whimsey's of the artist's mind !

There is only one of each! First come, first serve!!

I have done my best to identify them as to why they were made and if they were put in the line or not. I may be wrong, so let me know if you know the history of a piece!

this is France's designer sample

Frances Burton has created a touching tableau of a mother giraffe overseeing her playful child.  This delightful companion to the "Elephant Walk" design from 2005 adds yet another dimension to sandcarved artistry. Shimmering metallic paints compliment the red gold brilliance of Marigold iridescence, bringing the African landscape to life.
